About EvilWerks
EvilWerks started out in a small 8 x 16' shack that I built in the back yard of my San Diego home in 2000. Despite numerous moves over the decades, I have kept in business and am now securely located in Loveland, OH, where I inted to stay. Although I started messing around with vintage Porsches in 1996, it wasnt until the internet, and 2000, that SoCal locals started to find me and have me do work for them. Then, I started doing mail order transmission repairs, custom parts, etc. From all of that, EvilWerks was born.
My biggest claim to fame is my technical abilities with vintage Porsche transmissions. In the Porsche community I am well known by my pseudonym, "Dr. Evil" and have done a thousand builds and several rebuild clinic at locations all over North America. I post up free educational stuff on my EvilWerks FaceBook page, and answer free technical questions from enthusiasts all around the world. My philosophy is simple; Knowledge is wasted if not shared. I was born knowing nothing. It was those that came before me that taught me, and I enjoy teaching others about their unique cars and motorcycles. I consider myself very fortunate to be able to give back to the communities that I have so very much enjoyed over the decades, and from where I learned my skills.
As you can see displayed on this site, I have a very broad and eclectic set of interests; vintage VW, Porsche, Moto Guzzi, BMW motorcycles. I am very fortunate to have been able to turn these passions into my business. Who wouldn't want to work doing what they love!?
